Working Professional MBA

Executive MBA

Designed for today’s business leaders with eight or more years of work experience, the Executive MBA Program attracts executives from Florida and around the nation. Our Class of 2011 even attracted an executive from Portugal. Vice President, Senior Director and even CEO are some of the titles belonging to our executive students.

As a result of the advanced career level of our students, topics for classroom discussion are approached from a strategic viewpoint.

Students meet for an extended weekend (Friday-Sunday) once a month on the UF campus in Gainesville. The 20-month program is divided into five four-month terms, and most terms consist of three business courses and one leadership development course.

Orientation is mandatory to participate in the Executive MBA program. The planned activities for orientation weekend include a welcoming from staff and faculty, reception, program details, Ropes and Challenge course, and Team Development.

International Study Tour

An international study tour is also incorporated into the Executive MBA Program. Locations vary and past trips have included London, Paris and Munich. These weeklong experiences are centered around meetings with business leaders. On a recent trip, students met with a Senior Advisor to the United Nations, a Vice President of Disneyland Paris and the President of Citi France.

Fellow Students & Alumni Network

Executives in the class come from a variety of organizations, providing a full spectrum of viewpoints during classroom discussions. Fortune 500 companies like Johnson & Johnson and Walt Disney World, state leading companies like Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, government entities like the U.S. Navy and State of Florida, small business owners and non-profit leaders make up your class colleagues.
