Professional MBA in South Florida

South Florida’s upwardly mobile professionals can earn an MBA from the state’s top-ranked program without having to leave South Florida. U.S. News and World Report, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Financial Times and The Economist have all ranked UF MBA programs among the world’s best.

Once every three weeks, for 24 months, on a Saturday and Sunday, the best and brightest business leaders in South Florida gather at the UF MBA Sunrise Center on Sawgrass Corporate Parkway. Throughout the program they hear from UF faculty that are ranked in the top 10 among public business schools nationwide in marketing, finance and accounting. Only one faculty team teaches in the UF MBA Program. Everyone earns the same degree and goes through the same rigorous coursework, regardless of their chosen program.

The depth and breadth of experience in the South Florida cohorts is impressive. Only two years of full-time, professional work experience is required, but the power of our South Florida program consistently attracts seasoned professionals with 10-15 years of experience. From leading healthcare organizations to Fortune 500 companies, students bring a variety of backgrounds and perspectives to classroom discussions – enriching your MBA experience.

Orientation is mandatory to participate in the South Florida MBA program. The planned activities for orientation weekend include a welcoming from staff and faculty, reception, program details, Ropes and Challenge course, and Team Development.

International Study Tour

New to our South Florida program is an international study tour. Students will take a week-long trip to another country to tour factories and meet with business leaders. The trip is a two credit class led by a faculty member and offers a unique experience that would be difficult to create on your own. Places visited include multinational corporations that have operations in that country (i.e. Exxon Mobil, Coach, Lockheed Martin), multinational corporations founded and/or headquartered in that country (i.e. avast! in Prague, Essilor in Paris), local businesses and government entities. Additionally, there is a cultural day for students to tour and experience the unique location being visited. The costs associated with the trip are included in the program cost, with the exception of airfare and some meals.
