Students in the Executive Program meet for an extended weekend (Friday-Sunday) once a month on the University of Florida campus. The 20-month program is divided into five four-month terms and has a one week international trip.
Most terms consist of three business courses plus one Professional Development course. The Professional Development courses are designed to focus on skills needed for managerial success that are not normally covered in the classroom, such as effective written and oral presentation skills.
The curriculum exposes students to the primary functional areas in business and allows for further breadth through specified advanced-level courses. The curriculum has been carefully designed to maximize the MBA educational experience while minimizing the amount of time executives must be away from work.
International Study Tour
The International study tour is a program requirement; students travel abroad in May for a week of experiential learning through lectures or discussions with local business and government leaders. The tour will include stops in the capitals of France and Belgium, as well as other sites in these countries, and feature a combination of lectures, group projects and/or site visits. Typical site visits for students in the recent graduate study tours include visits to the European Economic Union, Procter and Gamble, and UNESCO.
