MBA Association
The MBAA is one of the most active MBA student organizations. It identifies issues of importance and works with the MBA Programs Office to implement solutions. It provides organization and cohesion to the diverse activities of the MBA student population.
National Association of Women MBAs
NAWMBA is a national organization, headquartered at the Darden School at the University of Virginia. The purpose of the organization, whose membership is open to both women and men, is to open dialogue about gender and diversity issues in the workplace and the larger business community.
Investment Club
The Investment Club is an official student organization at the University of Florida and is open to any MBA student interested in the stock market, building an intelligent strategy towards investing in their retirement, or in learning more about careers in investing. Monthly meetings consist of an in-depth presentation of one security by a club member. Members will gain valuable experience in the science (and art) of advanced security analysis, as well as uncover potential investment ideas.
Hispanic MBA Association
The Hispanic MBA Association was established for the expressed purpose of aiding Hispanic residents, Latin international students, and those interested in Hispanic/Latino Culture in the MBA program.
International Business Association
The International Business Association (IBA) consists of international and U.S. students who are interested in global business. The IBA's goal is to foster a global atmosphere at the Warrington School of Business and to be a voice for enhancing the international offerings of the MBA program. The IBA is open to all Florida MBA students.
MBA Ambassadors
Florida MBA Ambassadors serve as official liaisons between the admissions office and prospective students, while promoting Florida's MBA Programs. Activities led by the Ambassadors include campus tours, class visits, and special events.
Case Competitions
Teams of MBA students participate annually in regional and national case competitions against MBA students from other schools in fields such as marketing, management, and venture capital. In 1998, UF's team placed third in the Southeastern MBA Marketing Case Competition.
